Course Description
CPR-B Registrants:
Emergency First Aid Child & Community Care is a WorkSafeBC Occupational Basic Level equivalent and can be used in the workplace. This program is designed for those working in the childcare, home care or residential care industry. Program length and content meets requirements outlined by the Ministry of Health for child and residential care workers. This course includes CPR-B/AED to prepare candidates to respond to adult, child & infant emergencies.
EFA Child & Community Care includes CPR-B & AED certification. EFA Child & Community Care is valid for 3 years from the date of certification. To renew an EFA Child & Community Care certification, candidates must attend an EFA Child & Community Care with CPR/B original course.
