Service Description

Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care with CPR-C OFA1 Equivalent Price $154 total Pre-requisite: none (Recommend 13 years +) Pre-Registration required. Minimum number of candidates needed to run the course. Please register ASAP to avoid course cancellation. Cancellation Policy is 7 business days prior to course start date preferably Payment Options: eTransfer preferred to: lifeessentialsfirstaid@gmail.com or 250 354 8926 Certification will be issued from The Lifesaving Society of BC/YK & WorkSafeBC and will be valid for 3 years of date of issue. Temporary cards valid for 60 days are issued upon successful course completion. Permanent cards will be emailed directly from The Lifesaving Society within that time-frame. The Lifesaving Society of BC/YT is equivalent to The Canadian Red Cross, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, St John Ambulance and the Canadian Ski Patrol. Course Description: Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care is a WorkSafeBC Occupational Level 1 equivalent and can be used in the workplace. This program is designed for those working in the childcare, home care, foster care or residential care industry. Program length and content meets requirements outlined by the Ministry of Health for child and residential care workers. This course includes CPR-C and AED use to prepare candidates to respond to adult, child, infant & 2 rescuer emergencies.
